HURLEY – A Hurley K-12 students tested positive for the coronavirus. The Iron County Health Department reports the positive test result was received on Tuesday and involved a kindergarten student, so school officials sent the class of 12 students home to quarantine because they are all in close proximity. School district officials say they sent the case notice to all parents so everyone better understands the system they use and the reasons why they make the decisions they do with circumstances concerning COVID-19.
