Ironwood cracking down on nuisance odors.

IRONWOOD – Ironwood lawmakers pass an amendment to the city’s nuisance ordinance addressing offensive odors. The amendment which gives the city guidelines for managing nuisance odors unanimously passed with around 2 weeks before the city’s marijuana ordinance becomes law. City Manager Scott Erickson says they have equipment to determine odor levels in response to complaints. A public hearing will be held Nov. 9 on amendments to the adult-use marijuana establishments ordinance covering the application and review process. The meeting is at 5:20 p.m.
