Iron River ATV rider dies in Bayfield County ATV crash

BAYFIELD – A UTV rider is killed in a Bayfield County crash on Wednesday. Police say it happened around 3:00 p.m. in the township of Tripp when a 75-year-old man from Iron River drove his side by side off Range Line Road and into a creek. First responders found the unidentified man’s body inside the mostly submerged side-by-side. Investigators are looking into what led up to the crash. The man’s name is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.
