Iron County Road Construction Season about to start.

IRON COUNTY – Construction season is about to get underway in Iron County.  One state funded project includes repaving Highway 51 with a mill and overlay from Iron Street in Hurley to County Road C in Oma.  Several culvert replacements will be part of this project that is set to start later this month.  County projects include County Road C from U.S. 51 east to the state line. This project includes an added gravel base, replacement of culverts and pave with a hot mix of asphalt.  In Mercer reconstruction of about a 2 mile stretch of County Road G.  This project will add a gravel base, replace culverts and pavement. The 2 Iron County projects are set to start next month.
