Iron County Canvass of spring election complete, with few changes.

HURLEY – Iron County Board of Canvass Confirms the Spring Election. Tuesday’s election has been certified by the Iron County Board of Canvass. The three-person board confirmed the results initially reported, with the exception of Sharon Ofstad getting a total of 163 votes in her write in bid for a seat on the Hurley School Board after she received a second vote in the town of Knight. A total of 1,501 votes were cast in the race for the state superintendent of public instruction and a total of 1,317 votes were cast in the court of appeals race on the ballot.
