Investigation Underway in the Death of Ashland Jail Inmate.

ASHLAND – Investigation Underway in the Death of Ashland Jail Inmate. The death of an inmate on the 27th of January at the Ashland County Jail is under investigation. Aaron Craig, 43 was booked into the Ashland County Jail on an outstanding warrant and according to the DailyPress, there were no obvious signs of trauma or injury when Craig was found and he was alone in his cell. Ashland County Sheriff Brian Zupke said it is believed Craig suffered some type of medical event. Chief Bill Hagstrom said there were no signs of alcohol or drug use during the arrest. Toxicology testing is being done to determine a cause of death.
