Gov. Whitmer activated The State Emergency Operations Center yesterday for U.P. Flooding

GOGEBIC COUNTY – Governor Gretchen Whitmer activated the State Emergency Operations Center yesterday due to flooding caused by snowmelt in several counties including Gogebic County.  The State Emergency Operations Center is monitoring the situation and working with state and local officials as well as private sector partners to ensure any resource needs are met for those affected by flooding.
