Gogebic Range United Way fundraising efforts begin

BESSEMER – The Gogebic Range United Way kicks off its fall fundraising drive differently than in years past. Officials say the charity’s annual dinner fundraiser kickoff was cancelled due to COVID-19 and possible alternatives such as a drive-through dinner event were determined not to be feasible. The United Way provides funding to nearly 20 non-profits in Gogebic, Ontonagon, and Iron Counties. If you’re not able to make a financial donation the United Way is always in need of volunteers especially with the impact from the coronavirus.
