Gogebic County Trails are open

IRONWOOD – After recent warmer weather how are snowmobile trails on the Gogebic Range hold up. The Gogebic Range Trail Authority says trails are very icy in spots while areas out of town in the woods are in better shape since those trails have a lot of base. The trail Authority says conditions are not favorable to new riders or those without significant experience. Trails Grooming operations continue riders need to look for hazards to appear abruptly, especially as traffic increases.
