Gogebic County recording it 2nd Covid related death

IRONWOOD – Gogebic County has its second COVID-19 related death. The Western UP Health Department reported the death on Wednesday but no information was provided on the individual’s age, gender or if there were underlying medical conditions. It’s the first fatality in the county since March. The department’s current case count is 302 with 218 listed as “positive” and 84 as “probable”. Of those nearly 110 cases are active and that’s the highest active case total in the department’s 5-county area .
