GCC Board decides to temporary fill positions

IRONWOOD – Gogebic College Board Continues to Search for VPs and will fill those positions in the short term with temps.  The Gogebic College Board of Trustees held a special meeting last week to discuss the idea of a short-term employee, a special projects coordinator to assist with upper-level administrative projects while the search continues for vp of business services and vp of student services. The temp would handle some of the duties of the two vice presidents as if the positions were filled. John Lupino, board president said one vice president has been doing the job of three, referring to David Darrow, vp of academic services. The board ultimately decided to do an internal search and poll for interest in the position within the college.
