Gas prices start the week lower.

IRONWOOD – Gas prices in Michigan are down 5 cents compared to a week ago, local prices not changing much. Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $2.27 per gallon for regular unleaded. This price is 1 cent less than this time last month and 15 cents less than this time last year. The most expensive gas price in Michigan is in Ironwood at $2.39 followed by Ann Arbor and Metro Detroit $2.31 and Marquette $2.28. Lowest price is in Traverse City at $2.16 a gallon.
