Gas prices start the week lower.

IRONWOOD – Gas prices in Michigan are down 5 cents compared to a week ago statewide, Ironwood prices increased some over the week but remain mostly steady for the most part. Michigan Drivers are paying an average of $2.22 per gallon for regular unleaded. This price is 16 cents more than this time last month but still 33 cents less than this time last year. The most expensive gas price is in the UP in Marquette and Ironwood at $2.29 a gallon the lowest price is in Traverse City in downstate Michigan at $2.07 as of this morning.
