Gas prices remain steady locally.

IRONWOOD – Gas prices in Michigan are up 12 cents compared to last week, while local prices remain unchanged. Michigan drivers are paying an average of $2.39 per gallon for regular unleaded, which is the highest price seen since February of last year. This price is 15 cents more than this time last month and 7 cents less than this time last year. Most expensive gas is in Marquette at $2.43 followed by Ironwood at $2.39 the lowest prices can be found in Traverse City at $2.28 per gallon.
