HURLEY – Two Hurley residents are looking for a new place to live after a fire damaged their Hematite St. home. The fire broke out early Friday morning and when firefighters arrived flames were visible from the second floor. Authorities say the home’s metal roof made it more challenging to get the fire out. Most of the fire damage was confined to the second floor but there was water damage throughout the dwelling. No one was hurt and the Red Cross is helping the two residents with temporary housing.
