RODGERS CITY – On a happy note the election to fill a city council seat in Rodgers City in down state Michigan has been settled by drawing two pieces of paper from a bowl one saying “elected” the other “not elected” this days after a 616-616 tie in that race. Both candidates were all smiles with the one pulling the paper saying “not elected” telling the other “Do good work. I’ll see you in two years.”
