IRONWOOD – COVID Assistance Grant Deadline is Friday Jan. 22nd A reminder that businesses that have fewer than 100 employees and have experienced hardship since Governor Whitmer’s executive order are eligible to apply for Invest UP’s Small Business Survival Grant Program, which could provide anywhere from $15,000 to $20,000 in assistance. $2.5 million out of $55 million set by the state is earmarked for the Upper Peninsula. The deadline to apply for a grant is this coming Friday at noon. Some 2000 businesses have completed the application process, with another 15,000 waiting in line to finish their applications.
