Big jump in COVID cases in Gogebic County, 1 new death reported.

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health reporting 1543 COVID cases in Gogebic County an increase of 22 cases since yesterday with one death being reported bringing the Gogebic County death count from the virus to 26. Ontonagon County with 599 cases an increase of 3 since yesterday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 751 cases in Iron County no change since yesterday. Health officials in Michigan report 23,104 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday and Wednesday, with 245 new reported deaths. 59.9% of Michigan residents aged 5 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of November 16. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 3,503 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, with 26 new deaths. 55.1% of eligible residents have completed the vaccination series.
