Bessemer schools making preliminary graduation plans

BESSEMER — The Bessemer school board voted to tentatively set July 10 as graduation day for the class of 2020, during a special meeting.  The ceremony will be at 7:30 p.m.  Bessemer School officials saying as of right now this is all speculative they are making plans ahead of time and then will have to wait to see what’s happens.  Preliminary plans indicate the ceremony will take place outside, with people separated by six feet for social distancing, and if there is a weather issue it will likely be moved it to another day.
