BESSEMER – 42nd Annual Pumpkin Fest is This Weekend in Bessemer. The 42nd Annual Bessemer Pumpkinfest is this weekend. Celebrate Autumn with a free carnival, tractor show, craft fair, street vendors, dessert social, pancake breakfast, live music, pumpkin contests & games, pumpkin sales, raffles, a poker run, kiddie parade, face painting, Skippy & Dave Show, Harvest Dinner, horseshoe tournament and The Great Pumpkin Hunt in Bessemer Ghost Buildings. Practice your geocaching skills, hunt for pumpkins, fill out your entry card and return to the Dairy Queen for drawings for prizes later in the day at the VFW.
