Accident shuts down US-2 at Birch Hill last night

GURNEY – US Highway 2 was closed for some time last night. Traffic was rerouted down Highway 169 in Cedar/Gurney to Mellen due to a traffic crash in Ashland County near the bottom of Birch Hill. Highway 2 partially reopened just after 7:00pm. Details regarding the accident have not yet been released.
