A few new COVID cases reported over the weekend locally

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health reporting 2725 COVID cases in Gogebic County an increase of 1 case over the weekend. Ontonagon County with 877 an increase of 3. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 1205 cases in Iron County an increase of 1 since Friday. Health officials in Michigan report 1,575 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Thursday and Friday, reflecting an average daily case count of 788 new cases per day. 60.3% have completed their vaccination series. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 367 new cases of COVID-19 in Friday’s update, with ten new deaths. 60.7% of the total population has completed the vaccination series.
