ASHLAND – Ashland police say a student had a gun at school Tuesday in Ashland. Police Chief Bill Hagstrom said he could not release much information “because of the age of the student and the ongoing investigation.” According to the Ashland Daily Press, parents were notified yesterday afternoon in a letter from the district. The letter reportedly said that police confiscated the weapon, and that the student had the gun in school building.
