Fire overnight in Bruce Crossing

BRUCE CROSSING – One person is in the hospital after an overnight building fire at the former Chrysler Dodge Plymouth dealership in Bruce Crossing overnight.  The fire has since been put out, but fire crews expect the building will smolder for another day or two.  Firefighters found a person in the building upon arrival. That person was transported to Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital for evaluation and then airlifted to another hospital. That person’s name and condition has not been released.  Bruce Crossing, Ewen, Watersmeet, Rockland, and Greenland Twp. Fire crews responded.  The fire is believed to have started in the chimney.
