Ashland voters being asked about Marijuana.

ASHLAND – Wisconsin spring elections will be held April 5. In Ashland, there are city council seats and the mayor’s office up for grabs. But voters will also be asked for their opinion on legalizing marijuana. The referendum is advisory, meant to take voters’ temperature. Option A would support legalization over age 21. Option B would be if you support medicinal. Or Option C would be no answer to changing any current laws. While the results won’t have immediate impact, the city’s goal is to send a clear message to state lawmakers about exactly where Ashland voters stand. Early voting is available through Friday, and polls open at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5.
