IRONWOOD. More Icy weather overnight on the Gogebic Range with even some Thunder and Lightning last night being observed. WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON…More mixed precipitation of snow, sleet and freezing rain expected today. Total snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of one tenth to two tenths of an inch. Winter Storm Watch, with heavy snow possible tonight and tomorrow morning. Total snow accumulations of up to 6 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. This system will come in two parts. The first part will be the mixed precipitation for today. The second part will be heavy snow Wednesday night into Thursday afternoon. Any changes in the track of the storm could result in changes to the ice and snow accumulations.
