Assistance available for Michigan home owners

IRONWOOD – Additional ARPA Homeowner Assistance Is Now Available. Governor Gretchen Whitmer and the Michigan State Housing Development Authority has launched a new program to help homeowners with additional financial help to pay bills and stay in their homes. Funds allocated under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to the Michigan Homeowner Association can help pay delinquent mortgages, property tax and/or condominium payments, escrow shortages and past due utility bills.
