Local and Regional COVID numbers

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health reporting 2678 COVID cases in Gogebic County an increase of 13 since yesterday’s update.  Ontonagon County with 853 an increase of 1 since yesterday.  The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 1198 cases in Iron County no increase since Friday.  Health officials in Michigan report 5,380 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 for Saturday through Monday, reflecting an average daily case count of 1,793 new cases per day.  65.5% of all Michigan residents have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of February 10. Of residents 5 and older, 59.3% have completed their vaccination series.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 739 new cases of COVID-19 in Monday’s update, with eight new deaths.  63.5% of the total population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of February 9. 59.7% of the total population has completed the vaccination series.
