Gogebic County Commissioners receive guidance on how to spend ARPA funds

BESSEMER – Gogebic County Board of Commissioners Get Legal Advice on ARPA Funding. The Gogebic County Board of Commissioners heard from attorney Troy Cumming, of the law firm of Warner Norcross and Judd via Zoom last week regarding the firm’s suggestions on eligible ways to spend American Rescue Plan Funding. The firm has provided legal counsel regarding ARPA funds to Baraga and Ontonagon counties in the U.P. Cummings also said that enlisting the help of the firm will cost considerably less since the county will not have to perform lengthy analysis on the legalities of how to spend those funds.
