Iron County Health Department releases COVID numbers

HURLEY – The Iron County Health Department releasing information regarding COVID-19 numbers for Iron County which show a higher number of those with COVID-19 in Iron County than the state numbers, but also shows a slightly higher number of those vaccinated compared to the state average. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 863 cases in Iron County, Iron County Health Department showing 1,296. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 58.9% of the total population has completed the vaccination series. Iron County Health department says 61.3% of Iron County residents are now fully vaccinated.
