WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM CST/ FRIDAY…Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 8 inches. The heaviest snow will be in the higher terrain of the Porcupine Mountains, along the higher terrain along the Lake Superior shoreline and in the higher terrain of northern Iron County. The lightest amounts will be in the Paulding and Watersmeet areas in Eastern Gogebic County. 12.5 inch of snow since Tuesday here at the broadcast center as of 7:00 this morning an official reporting site for the city of Ironwood for the National Weather Service in Marquette.
