Local and Regional COVID case numbers

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health reporting 1453 COVID 19 cases in Gogebic County an increase of 7 since Friday.  Ontonagon County with 576 cases an increase of 13 since Friday.  The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 741 cases in Iron County an increase of 2 since Friday. Health officials in Michigan report 10,094 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Thursday and Friday, with 90 new reported deaths.  69.5% of Michigan residents age 16 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of November 4.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 2,634 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, with 10 new deaths.  58.1% of the total population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of November 5. 55.1% of eligible residents have completed the vaccination series.
