Hurley Police policy updates near complete.

HURLEY – Hurley Police Department Almost Done Updating Policing Policies. The Hurley Police Department will soon be finished with a project started to update policies and procedures with Lexipol, a law enforcement policies and training agency. At a meeting of the Police, Fire and Licensing committee, Police Chief Chris Colasacco reported the process would be complete in early spring. The goal is to make the department function with standardized policing policies that will also reduce the city’s administrative vulnerability. Chief of Police Chris Colassaco says the policy update will be a big step for the department.
