Local and Regional COVID-19 numbers

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 823 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 8 since yesterday.  Ontonagon County with 315 cases this morning no increase since yesterday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 471 cases in Iron County an increase of 2 since yesterday. Health officials in Michigan report 1,476 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 for Tuesday. The total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 across the state is 552,556. There were 79 deaths reported. According to the MDHHS, there have been a total of 760,066 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Michigan.  The statewide case fatality rate is 2.6%.  Health officials say there have been over 9.75 million tests conducted across the state.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 1,301 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, with 54 new deaths. DHS says 5,448 people were tested in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases across the state since the pandemic began is 535,218, with 95% of the cases now recovered.  According to WDHS, there have been a total of 362,505 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Wisconsin.
