Local and Regional COVID numbers.

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 815 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 8 since yesterday.  Ontonagon County with 315 cases this morning an increase of 2 since yesterday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 469 cases in Iron County an no increase since yesterday.  Health officials in Michigan report 3,011 new confirmed cases of COVID-19. Over the two days, the average number of new cases is 1,505 per day. The total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 across the state is 551,080. There were 35 new deaths reported.  According to the MDHHS, there have been a total of 730,453 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Michigan.  The statewide case fatality rate is 2.6%.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 946 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, with 8 new deaths. DHS says 4,199 people were tested in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases across the state since the pandemic began is 533,917, with 95% of the cases now recovered. There are 22,041 active cases as of Monday.  According to WDHS, there have been a total of 345,017 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Wisconsin.
