Local and Regional COVID-19 numbers.

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 792 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 4 since yesterday.  Ontonagon County with 297 cases this morning an increase of 5 since yesterday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 451 cases in Iron County an increase of 3 since yesterday. Health officials in Michigan report 2,031 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. The total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 across the state is 542,146. There were 40 new deaths reported.  The statewide case fatality rate is 2.6%.  According to the MDHHS, there have been a total of 512,906 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Michigan.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 1,522 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, with 50 new deaths. DHS says 6,645 people were tested in the last 24 hours.  The total number of confirmed cases across the state since the pandemic began is 525,924, with 94% of the cases now recovered.  According to WDHS, there have been a total of 248,185 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Wisconsin.
