Local and Regional COVID-19 numbers

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 773 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 13 since Friday.  Ontonagon County with 288 cases this morning an increase of 2 since Friday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 445 cases in Iron County an increase of 5 since Friday. Health officials in Michigan report 1,932 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Saturday. The total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 across the state is 535,534. There were 103 new deaths.  According to the MDHHS, there have been a total of 405,992 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Michigan.  The statewide case fatality rate is 2.6%. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 1,606 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, with 1 new death. DHS says 6,674 people were tested in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases across the state since the pandemic began is 521,794, with 94% of the cases now recovered. There are 26,139 active cases as of Sunday.  According to WDHS, there have been a total of 213,056 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Wisconsin.
