GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 725 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County as of Friday Morning. Ontonagon County with 279 cases on Friday. The state website was down this morning we hope to have the weekend case numbers included in tomorrows news. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 434 cases in Iron County since Friday an increase of 7. Wisconsin health officials are reporting 3,046 new cases of COVID-19 and 36 more deaths from the virus. Data released Saturday brings the state’s death toll from the virus to 5,155. The death count is the 22nd highest in the country overall. Wisconsin also ranks 36th nationwide for new cases per capita.
