Local and Regional COVID-19 numbers

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reporting 615 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 18 since yesterday.  Ontonagon County with 261 cases an increase of 5 since yesterday. While the Wisconsin Department of Health reports 364 cases an increase of 1 cases since yesterday. As of last night, there have been a total of 12,449 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Upper Peninsula during this outbreak. Of those, at least 6,357 are considered recovered and 273 have resulted in death. The seven-day average for positive tests in the U.P. sits at 8.9%.  Aspirus Ironwood has 4 patients with 2 in ICU, and 41% bed occupancy.  Wisconsin reported 4,618 new cases Thursday, bringing the total to 399,708.
