Suspect arrested in a sting of burglaries in Bessemer.

BESSEMER – A suspect is apprehended in a string of Bessemer burglaries. Police say the 29-year-old Wakefield man is responsible for a break-in at a home and car where around $250 in items were taken. The same man was linked to 4 other recent car burglaries. The suspect was initially taken into custody for a narcotics probation violation but is now to be charged in the Bessemer crimes. According to investigators data from the GPS on the suspect’s phone showed he was at the burglary locations.
