Civic Center project behind schedule

IRONWOOD – Work on Ironwood’s new civic center is running behind schedule due to a number of factors. Civic Center Board Chairman Jim Collins tells the Daily Globe that slow material shipments along with COVID-19 taking out workers are behind the delays. The two issues are creating scheduling issues which could delay starting other work and winter activities in January. Collins says he hopes to release an updated timeline this week. The city has contingency plans for lost revenue due to no fault of their own.
