Hurley School budget APPROVED!

HURLEY — The Hurley K-12 School District Board unanimously approved its 2020-21 budget following a hearing and annual meeting. The board approved a general fund amount of just under $2,8 million dollars. The board then approved the total funds budget of just over $8,2 million, which includes debt service, capital projects food service and interfund transfers. Declining enrollment in Hurley and increasing property values resulted in about a 7% decrease in aid from the Wisconsin Department of Education.
