Accident shuts down Highway 51 last night

HURLEY- The Iron County Sheriff’s Office says they closed Highway 51 just south of Hurley at around 5:30 PM last night due to a traffic accident. The accident occurred on Highway 51 just south of Hurley and just north of Highway C. Traffic was rerouted along County Highway C. The cause of the accident is under investigation unknown if there were any injuries. The Highway was reopened just after 1am this morning.
