More Snow on the way!

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM CDT FRIDAY…Then a WINTER STORM WATCH GOES IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING…  A large early spring storm is expected to affect the Great Lakes Region starting tonight. This round of snow will bring accumulations of 2 to 6 inches to much of the region with Locally higher amounts are possible, mainly in northern Bayfield County. Mixed precipitation is expected especially over northwest Wisconsin tonight, where ice accumulations may approach a quarter of an inch or many locations. A second round of a wintry mixture changing over to moderate to heavy snow is expected Friday through early Saturday morning. Some places may see heavy snowfall accumulations around or greater than 6 inches.  Some weather models show upwards of 18 to 24 inches of snow in parts of Northern Wisconsin and the Western U.P. by Sunday.
