Moderate accumulating expected tonight across west and central Upper Michigan. Gusty northeast winds will also create blowing and drifting snow. Total snow accumulations of 9 to 16 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
