Fr. Binu Joseph leaves Our Lady of Peace Church.

IRONWOOD – The Diocese of Marquette saying Fr. Binu Joseph pastor of the Our Lady of Peace Church in Ironwood has decided to permanently leave Ironwood. The press release pointing at the reactions of a few to the transition of the church’s day care program to a separate entity as a deciding factor for Fr. Binu to leave the church. The Diocese says there was no wrongdoing by Fr. Binu and the decision was his alone and that the separation of the All Saints / Little Lambs daycare will move forward to be in par with other similar operations in the U.P. and throughout the country. In the interim priests from Bessemer, Wakefield and Marenisco will share mass and daily duties at the Our Lady of Peace Church until a permanent replacement is found.
