Teen girl in hospital after falling out of pick-up truck

HANCOCK TOWNSHIP – A 17-year-old girl is hospitalized in Ann Arbor with life-threatening injuries after falling out of the cab of a pickup truck Friday in Houghton County. Investigators say the Dodge Dakota pick-up truck was being driven by the teens 22-year-old boyfriend when the girl fell out of the cab onto the roadway, causing life-threatening injuries. The boyfriend driver rushed the girl to the hospital to be treated for her injuries. She was later transported to a hospital in Ann Arbor for further specialty care. No further information has been released.
