Kimball man found GUILTY

KIMBALL - A Kimball man found guilty of pointing a gun at a bird hunter. It took only 20 minutes to find 71 years old, Jerry Hitter guilty of the crime. Hitter stood accused of confronting Clifford and Gene Kaari near the border of his property, while the brothers were bird hunting. The defense claimed Hitter was acting in self-defense because the hunters had shotguns pointed at him. Hitter testified the pistol wasn’t loaded during the confrontation. He is due to sentenced Oct. 29.
