One dies in an Oneida County Accident last night

SUGAR CAMP - A motorcycle crash in Oneida County left one man dead Wednesday night. Shortly before 10:40 p.m., police responded to reports of a one-man crash just beyond the intersection of State Rd 17 and County Hwy D in the Town of Sugar Camp. At the scene, medics found the body of one man and a motorcycle. Police say the man was likely traveling southbound on Hwy 17 when he crashed. At this time, police believe no other vehicles were involved. State Patrol will reconstruct the scene. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, Oneida County EMS, Sugar Camp Fire Department and Wisconsin Department of Transpiration all responded to the incident. At the time of the crash, WisDOT estimated traffic in both the north and southbound lanes of State Rd 17 would be closed for up to two hours.
