ANTIGO - The Wisconsin DNR completed a draft of its first-ever Wisconsin Inland Trout Management Plan. It is now seeking public comment. Dave Seibel helped work on the plan and thinks trout are doing well in the state. He said the DNR will be proactive rather than reactive. Updates on the management and stocking of brook, brown, lake and rainbow trout are included in the plan. The DNR worked with anglers, conservation groups, and people who don’t fish. You can include your input the deadline is this Friday July 5th with online surveys on the DNR website. The surveys take about ten minutes.
